FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA & CAI

Faculty Development Programme (FDP) is designed to train and develop professionals in Academic development so that they can act as resource persons in guiding and motivating young faculties to take up education field as a career. Through this FDP, 8-10 faculty members of various Departments of different institutions are trained for a duration of 5 days. The training methodology includes case studies, group discussion, and power point presentation and classroom lectures. This FDP was sponsored by NITTTR, KOLKOTA. This th th was five day (8 july-12 july) training on power point presentation and to develop the presentation skills by adding animations, gif files, video and some pictures to the presentation. This is organized at NITTTR EXTENSION CENTRE , Bhubaneswar. Faculty Development Programme (FDP) aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for entrepreneurial values in students and guiding and monitoring their progress towards their career. Educational Technology is the application of Technological devices to enhance the effectiveness of teaching- learning systems. With the large scale of electronic devices auto learning has become popular. Media (audio/video) is a part of Educational Technology. Transferring information and constructing knowledge is a complex phenomenon. In order to make the teaching learning process effective, teachers in the class room should use variety of instructional media which helps the teachers to communicate with their learners in a better and effective manner.
