celebrated ”National Sports Day”
GIET Baniatangi, celebrated ”National Sports Day” on August 29 every year to honour hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand Singh, who won gold medals 3 times in Olympics for India. The prime motto of observing this event is to remember the birth day anniversary of Dhyan Chand, the Legendary man of sporting spirit and the king of Hockey. It was observed in our Yoga Center in the presence of the honorable Principal Sirs, and the HODs of various departments, co-ordinator of sports Club, students and sports Team. In the grace of the occasion the club organized an intra college Chess Competition and awarded the winners. The goal is to encourage our students for creating sporting spirit and fostering wow sportive atmosphere in the campus.
