INNOVATE X 4.0: Empowering the Future of Tech Innovation across India

INNOVATE X 4.0, a national-level hackathon, took place over two exciting days on 16th and 17th April. Over 30 hours, 50 teams from across India displayed their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The event was launched by special guests, including Mr. Kishore Kumar Panda (Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Khordha), Mr. D. N. Behera (Additional Director, STPI), and Mr. Peeyush Jena (Managing Director, WebBocket), who encouraged participants to think big and create solutions that matter. The hackathon featured coding challenges, brainstorming sessions, and prototype presentations, all judged by experts from top tech companies and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). The winning teams from OP Jindal University (Raigarh, Chhattisgarh), CV Raman Global University (Odisha), BCET, and institutions of the Gandhi Group received prizes worth ₹2.5 lakhs for their innovative ideas. Many participants also received offers for idea development, mentorship, and internships from partnering companies. During the closing ceremony, Vice Chairman Dr. J. P. Mishra shared, “INNOVATE X 4.0 will become one of the most important tech events in the country in the coming years, helping young Indians develop creative and innovative skills.” Sponsors, start-up founders, and STPI officials praised the smooth running of the event, noting its positive impact on budding innovators and future entrepreneurs.
